In Chicago’s East Ravenswood neighborhood, only 4333 N Hermitage sold during the last 6 months.
The 1906 5 bedroom 2.5 bath sold after 94 days for $ 620,000. Like most East Ravenswood homes, it sits on an extra deep lot – 165′ deep (30% more land!). These deep lots are a key selling point for homes in this north side historic district. The house was originally listed at $699,900, and after it was reduced to $ 675,000, it went under contract. It closed in August, but nothing else has closed since that date.
While nothing else has closed, one other property has gone under contract. A new home, built in 2006, 4322 N Hermitage is a brick 5 bedroom that was listed at $1,475,000 for 153 days before going under contract. We won’t know its sales price until it closes.
